Whether your kids are attending school virtually or the school itself, snacks are a must. As a mom to a toddler, I know the importance of a good snack. And an easy one. Let's take a look at some easy and yummy snack ideas for our kiddos this year!
First off, when it comes to preparing any snack, whether it is for an adult or kid it's important to create one that is nutritionally balanced. One that will hold us over until the next meal. My rule of thumb is to always include some sort of protein. Protein keeps our brains going and keeps us fuller longer. Therefore, the ideas I include offer a good balance for our growing littles (or bigs).
The best part is a lot of these options can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator or freezer for easy access. There is nothing better than something quick and easy for those busy days. Especially now that all of us are trying to get back into the routine of pre-pandemic. Let's try to do what we can to make our lives a little less complicated!
